Owl Rescued After Being Found Stuck 70 Miles Out at Sea

Imagine being a small bird lost in the middle of the ocean. That is exactly what happened to a little owl. It was found floating in the water about 70 miles away from the shore.

Being that far out in the open water is very dangerous for a bird that belongs on land. Experts are calling the owl’s survival 'nothing short of a miracle.'

How the bird got so far out is still a bit of a mystery, but it is now safe. People who helped save the owl said they were amazed it was still alive when they found it. It is a lucky ending for a bird that faced a very tough situation.
