Police have declared a "major incident" at RAF Fairford, an air base in England used by the United States Air Force.

Officers arrested two men in connection with the situation. The men are being held on suspicion of breaking the Explosives Act. This law covers the possession of dangerous materials or explosives.

As a precaution, police have ordered some people living near the air base to leave their homes. They are working to make sure the area is safe.
