For the first time in over 100 years, scientists have discovered a brand-new species of wild cat. This tiny creature is being called the Tilcayo.
It is so small that one person actually found one and thought it was just a normal stray kitten. It turns out, this little cat is a completely different wild species that we didn't know about until now.
Experts are calling it a tiny 'tiger' because of its look and behavior. Finding a new cat species is a huge deal because researchers haven't officially identified a new one in more than a century.
