Trump changes fuel rules; Cornell reopens old rape case

New car rules might make gas mileage worse, and a college rape case is being looked at again.

There is big news today from two different spots in the U.S. First, the Trump administration is changing the rules for cars. These new rules will make it easier for car companies to build vehicles that use more gas. The old rules wanted cars to be very efficient, meaning they would go further on one tank of gas. This change means cars might not be as good for the environment as they were before.

Also, a serious legal case at Cornell University is back in the news. The school is looking again at a case involving an alleged rape at a fraternity house. This case had been closed, but now school officials are reopening it. They will take another look at what happened to see if the right steps were taken.
