Turkey Offers Military Help to Saudi Arabia After Houthi Attacks

Turkey says it stands with Saudi Arabia and may help them defend against recent attacks from Houthi rebels in Yemen.

Turkey has promised to help Saudi Arabia defend itself. This comes after Houthi rebels in Yemen launched drone attacks near the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

Turkey’s leaders say they want to support Saudi security. They pointed to a defense pact, which is an official agreement where countries promise to help each other if one gets attacked. Because of this deal, Turkey says it is ready to provide military supplies or other help if Saudi Arabia asks for it.

The Houthi rebels are not happy about this. They have warned that if Turkey or Pakistan get involved in the fighting, they will strike back with a "decisive" response.

This situation is getting more tense. The Houthi group is also forming stronger ties with a terror group in Africa, which has many world leaders worried.

For now, Turkey is positioning itself as a strong partner for Saudi Arabia. The two countries are looking at how to stop the attacks and keep the region stable.
