These sanctions aren't just hitting airlines. The U.S. is also targeting Iran’s shipping network. The government says they are focusing on people and businesses that help move goods for Iran, trying to cut off ways for the country to make money or move supplies.

For regular people, this means travel between Iran and neighboring countries is getting much harder. Experts say this is a clear sign that the U.S. is trying to put more pressure on Iran’s leadership by making it tougher for their transportation systems to work.
