A man is on trial for drugging and hurting his wife

A major trial has started in Manchester, England. It involves a man accused of doing horrible things to his wife.
Prosecutors say the husband drugged his wife over many years. While she was unconscious, he reportedly invited other men to come to their home to sexually assault her.
In total, 13 men are now on trial. The husband is the main person being accused of organizing these attacks. The other 12 men are accused of taking part in the crimes.
The trial is expected to last for a long time because there are so many people involved and many serious charges to go over. The case has shocked the public, as the wife did not know what was happening to her while she was drugged.
Officials are working to make sure all the facts come out in court. For now, the trial continues as lawyers present their evidence.
