Bangkok is dealing with major flooding after days of non-stop, heavy rain. The situation has been very difficult for the people living there. Officials say about 700,000 people have been affected by the rising water.

In some parts of the city, the water rose so high that cars were left underwater. There are even reports of snakes ending up on the streets, adding to the danger for residents trying to get around.

Because of the damage, the city has been officially declared a 'disaster zone.' This is a label the government uses to help get extra money and workers to the areas that need the most help.

The flooding isn't just affecting homes. Big businesses are feeling it too. Companies like Thai Airways and Honda are facing delays and interruptions as the water makes it hard for workers to get to their jobs and for goods to be moved around.

There is some good news, though. The rain has finally started to let up, and the water levels have begun to go down. The government says they expect the streets to be clear of floodwater in the next two to three days.
