Germany’s Far-Right Party Is Now Too Extreme Even for Their Allies
Other far-right groups across Europe are distancing themselves from Germany's AfD party.

Germany has a political party called the AfD. They are known for having very strong, right-wing views. Lately, their ideas have become so extreme that other similar parties across Europe want nothing to do with them.
Usually, right-wing groups in different countries work together to gain more power in the European Parliament. But now, other parties are backing away from the AfD. They are worried that the AfD's recent scandals and radical comments will make them look bad to voters.
Even some of the AfD's closest political partners have decided to cut ties. This is a big deal because it leaves the AfD feeling very isolated on the European stage. While the party is still popular with some people in Germany, they are finding it much harder to build alliances with groups in other countries.
