Hurricane Trudy is spinning in the Pacific Ocean right now. It is heading toward the coast of Mexico.
At one point, the storm grew into a Category 3 hurricane. That means it had very strong, dangerous winds. Recently, it weakened back down to a Category 1 storm. This is a bit better, but it is still a serious weather event.
People living along the coast should stay alert. Forecasters are watching it closely as it moves toward land.
This hurricane is part of a very busy season in the Pacific. It is unusual to see this much activity right now. Meanwhile, over in the other side of the world, people near Guam are keeping an eye on a different storm called Champi.
We will keep you updated as we learn more about where Trudy goes next and how strong it stays.
