Israeli forces carried out an airstrike in Gaza City today. The attack hit an apartment building.
Officials in Israel said the strike was meant to hit a senior Hamas leader named Ali al-Amoudi. Right now, it is not clear if he was killed or what his condition is.
The strike killed five people, according to initial reports. One of the victims was a woman, and another was her daughter. Some reports are also mentioning a sixth person killed in the blast.
