A very famous piece of art is heading to London. It is called the Bayeux Tapestry. It is a long, historic cloth that tells the story of a big battle from almost a thousand years ago.

Next week, this tapestry will be on display for the public. Before that happens, some very important people are getting a private look. King Charles III will be there. The President of France, Emmanuel Macron, will also be there. The Prime Minister will join them, too.

France and Britain are trying to get along better lately. People are calling this "love-bombing." That is just a way of saying they are being extra friendly to each other right now.

The tapestry is a big deal because it shows how the two countries have been connected for a very long time.

If you want to see it for yourself, the exhibition at the British Museum opens to everyone next week. It is a rare chance to see a piece of history that has survived for centuries.
