Recent strikes on data centers and internet providers in Ukraine have left 100,000 homes offline and disrupted major media outlets.
Russia is now targeting the digital heart of Ukraine. Recent attacks have hit several data centers and internet service providers across the country. Data centers are the large buildings that hold the powerful computers keeping the internet running. When these are hit, websites, apps, and communication tools stop working. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says these attacks are an attempt to disrupt the 'ordinary life' of the Ukrainian people.
