A tragic shooting happened at a school in Zamboanga, Philippines. A ninth-grade student brought a gun to school and attacked a classmate.

The student who was attacked died. After the shooting, the young gunman took his own life.

What makes this case especially disturbing is that the shooter used his phone to live-stream the attack. People watching the video saw the violence as it happened.

Government officials are now looking into what could have caused this. Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla said that investigators are looking into whether the student was influenced by video games, specifically Roblox. They are trying to figure out if the game played a part in the student's behavior.

This kind of violence is very rare in schools in the Philippines. Families and local leaders are in shock as they try to understand how such a tragedy could happen at a school.

Police are continuing to talk to witnesses and look at the student’s phone to understand more about why he decided to commit this act.
