There is growing worry in the Middle East after a big discovery of explosives. Hezbollah, a powerful political and military group based in Lebanon, has admitted that the explosives belong to them.

The group says they were planning to use these materials to carry out attacks against Israel. This admission has made an already tense situation much worse.

In response to the news, US Senator Marco Rubio reached out to Lebanese officials, including former President Michel Aoun. Rubio urged Lebanese leaders to stand up to Hezbollah and not let the group hold so much power over the country. He wants Lebanon to push back against Hezbollah’s actions, which many fear could lead to another war.

While Hezbollah has admitted to owning the explosives, they are also denying reports that they had specific plans to assassinate anyone. Even so, experts say this situation is a clear sign that the group is getting ready for a potential new conflict with Israel.

For now, the international community is watching closely. The main concern is that these weapons could drag the entire region into a dangerous fight that nobody wants to see.
