Things are getting dangerous again in the Strait of Hormuz. This is a very narrow strip of water that is super important for the world's oil supply.

Recently, several oil tankers have been hit or threatened in the area. Reports say at least two tankers were struck, and another was threatened by forces from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC. The IRGC is an Iranian military group.

In one case, a ship was even ordered by the IRGC to turn around or face being hit. This is causing big problems for the companies that move oil across the ocean.

Because of these attacks, moving oil through this area has become a very risky job. Some ships are now trying to sneak through by turning off their lights and radios so nobody can track them.

Oil prices could be affected if these ships keep getting targeted. The situation remains tense, and sailors are on high alert as they pass through this busy and dangerous waterway.
