Thieves steal historic $4 million diamond necklace from Vienna museum

A brazen jewelry theft has occurred at a museum in Vienna. Thieves managed to walk off with a historic necklace that once belonged to an Egyptian queen. The piece is estimated to be worth $4 million.
According to local police, the thieves acted like regular museum guests. They bought tickets to get inside the building just like everyone else. Once they were inside, they carried out a smash-and-grab raid to snatch the jewelry.
The stolen item is incredibly valuable. It is made of platinum and features 673 diamonds. In total, the piece is a 200-carat creation.
Authorities are currently investigating how the group managed to get away with such a bold crime in the middle of the day. No arrests have been made yet, and police are working to track down the stolen treasure.
