There is a serious conflict happening between Saudi Arabia and a group called the Houthis. The Houthis are a rebel group based in the country of Yemen, which is right next door to Saudi Arabia.

For a long time, these two sides have been fighting. The Houthis have been firing missiles and sending drones into Saudi Arabia to attack airports and other places. People are worried because these weapons keep getting through, even though Saudi Arabia has systems to stop them.

Here is what you need to know about why this is happening:

**Who are the Houthis?**
The Houthis are a group that wants control over Yemen. They have been fighting against the Yemeni government for years. They are strongly supported by Iran, which is a major rival of Saudi Arabia in the region.

**Why are they attacking?**
The fighting is part of a much larger power struggle. Saudi Arabia leads a group of countries that stepped in to help the Yemeni government fight back against the rebels. The Houthis attack Saudi Arabia to show their strength and to try and force the Saudis to stop helping their enemies.

**Why is this a problem?**
Experts are worried that the worst of this fighting might still be ahead. A series of bad choices and mistakes by both sides has kept the war going for a long time. It has caused a lot of damage and made life very difficult for the people living in Yemen.

Right now, it is hard to see how the fighting will end. Both sides are digging in their heels, and the attacks on Saudi airports show that the rebels have no plans to stop anytime soon.
