Divers have found a very old shipwreck near Turkey. It was discovered close to Kekova Island. Experts believe this is the oldest shipwreck ever found in the entire world.
Because the ship is so old, it is an amazing piece of history. Some experts even think the ship might have been on its way to the city of Troy. Troy is a famous ancient city from stories and history books.
Finding a ship this old is very rare. Usually, old wooden ships rot away in the water after a few hundred years. This one stayed in good enough shape for us to find it today.
Researchers are very excited. They are working to learn more about what the ship was carrying and where it was going. By studying the wood and the items on the ship, they hope to learn more about how people traveled and traded by sea thousands of years ago.
