Archaeologists have found a very old shipwreck off the coast of Turkey. It sits deep under the water near Kekova Island.

Experts think this could be the oldest shipwreck ever discovered. Because it has been underwater for so long, it is in great shape. Some are calling it a "time capsule" because it offers a rare look at how people lived and traveled thousands of years ago.

Finding a ship this old is a big deal. However, some researchers are being careful. While many are excited, they say they still need to study the boat more to be 100% sure of its age.

Even with the caution, the discovery is being called a major moment for history. It gives us a better picture of what life was like at sea in the distant past.
