China and Indonesia are teaming up more than before. The two countries just held a big meeting in Jakarta to talk about how they can work together.
Here is the main news:
* They want to increase their military ties. This includes doing more joint training exercises between their armed forces.
* They are looking at ways to work closer on energy and technology.
* They are also talking about how to handle important minerals.
Government officials from both sides met for something called the "2+2" dialogue. That is just a fancy way of saying that the top people in charge of foreign affairs and defense from both countries sat down to chat.
Indonesia is even looking at expanding their military drills with China. Some people are now wondering if other countries in Southeast Asia will decide to do the same thing.
This meeting shows that China and Indonesia want to keep their relationship strong. They are looking for ways to grow their economies and keep their borders secure by leaning on each other.
