Famous Palestinian writer moves his life's work to Scotland

Raja Shehadeh, a well-known writer, has moved his personal diaries and archives from his home in Ramallah to the University of Edinburgh for safekeeping.

Raja Shehadeh is a very famous writer from Palestine. For years, he kept a collection of personal diaries and important papers. These papers document his life and the history of the area where he lives in Ramallah. Because of the ongoing conflict, Shehadeh was worried about his work.
