Iran’s President Signals Willingness to Return to Ceasefire Talks

Iran’s president, Masoud Pezeshkian, is sending a new message to the world. He says that Iran is ready to get back to the table and talk about peace.
Fighting in the region has been getting worse lately, but Pezeshkian told the public that keeping the war going is not in Iran's best interest. He is calling for unity at home while the country faces tough economic pressure from the United States.
There is a catch, though. The Iranian government says they are willing to go back to the ceasefire deal they agreed to in June. But they have one clear condition: the United States must follow the rules of that deal, too.
In short, Iran is saying that if the U.S. does its part and honors the agreements they already made, Iran will do the same.
Right now, everyone is watching to see how the U.S. will react. For now, the door to peace talks appears to be open, but it depends entirely on whether both sides can trust each other to follow through on their word.
