A huge number of people are being forced to leave their homes in Afghanistan. About six million people have been caught up in this massive movement.
Many of the people being pushed out are facing a very strange and difficult situation. Some of them have spent their whole lives living in other countries. They have never actually visited Afghanistan before. Now, they are being sent to a place that feels completely foreign to them.
The Taliban, the group currently in charge of the country, is behind these orders. Families are being told they must leave where they are currently living.
This is creating a major crisis. These millions of people are arriving in a country that is already struggling. They have nowhere to go and very few things to help them start over. They are having to try and build their lives from scratch in a place they do not know.
Aid groups are worried because there is not enough food, shelter, or work for everyone. This is a very tough time for millions of people who are essentially starting their lives over with nothing.
