A scientific paper about climate change was just pulled from its website. This is what scientists call a 'retraction.' It means the people who run the journal decided the work was not good enough to stay out there.

The paper tried to argue that carbon dioxide—the gas that most scientists say warms up our planet—is not actually to blame for climate change.

Experts who looked at the paper were not happy with it. They called it a 'hot mess.' They said the study was full of mistakes and did not follow the normal rules of science. Because of these big errors, the journal editors removed it so that people would not use it as a real source of information.

Retractions are actually a good part of the scientific process. When researchers find out a paper has major problems, they take it down to keep the truth clear. It shows that the system is working to catch bad information before it spreads too far.
