Nepal Observes Day of Mourning After Deadly Floods

Nepal is holding a day of mourning today. The country is remembering the people who died in recent, terrible floods.

At least 1,300 people have lost their lives. The flooding was very severe. It caused a lot of damage across the region.

Officials and citizens are grieving the loss of so many lives. It is a very sad time for the nation. Rescue teams have been working hard to help those affected by the water.

The government asked everyone to pause and remember the victims today. The focus remains on helping people recover from this disaster.
