Poland is dealing with a scary situation. Three schools have been attacked in the country in less than one week. Because of these events, police are on high alert.
Officers have already detained dozens of people. They are also checking on 50,000 schools to make sure students are safe.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk says the internet is to blame. He believes that people are posting content online that glorifies—or celebrates—violence. He thinks this makes it easier for these attackers to decide to hurt others.
In the most recent attack, three people were injured. Officials are worried that this trend of school violence is spreading because of what kids and young adults see on social media.
Police are working hard to stop this from happening again. They are keeping a close watch on schools across the entire country to keep everyone safe.
