A quiet church service turned into a nightmare in Poland. A man walked into an abbey, which is a type of monastery, and started stabbing people.

One priest died from his injuries. Four other people were hurt.

Police arrived quickly and arrested a man. Officials say the person they caught is a Ukrainian citizen. This has caused some tension in the local area, as people are worried about what this means for the community.

Witnesses said the scene was chaotic. What started as a normal time of prayer quickly turned into total panic as people tried to get away or help those who were hurt.

Police are still investigating why this happened. They are working to find out the motive behind the attack.
