A massive wave of drones targeted Moscow today, forcing Russian officials to shut down all airports in the capital. Over 460 flights were either delayed or canceled in Moscow and St. Petersburg because of the danger.

Following the attack, the Russian government stated that the war in Ukraine “must continue.”

Ukraine also reported that Russia struck back by bombing the city of Kharkiv. Both sides are continuing to trade heavy fire. These attacks come even as there has been talk about a potential ceasefire, or a pause in fighting, involving incoming U.S. leadership.

So far, the fighting shows no sign of slowing down. People in both countries continue to face the daily threat of air raids and travel chaos as the conflict stretches on.
