Russia is having a big problem with fuel. At seven out of every ten gas stations, there is no petrol left to buy. This means drivers are stuck in very long lines, only to find the pumps are dry.
People are getting frustrated. Some have even started fighting at stations because they are tired of waiting and can’t find gas for their cars. The situation is getting worse, and the government has admitted that the country is now having to import gas from other places to keep things running.
Even though many people are upset, they are being told to stay quiet. Reports say that authorities are arresting people who try to complain about the shortages on social media or in public. It seems the government is trying to stop people from talking about how bad the fuel crisis has become.
