Moscow is on high alert today. All four of the city’s major airports had to stop flights because of a drone attack. This caused major travel delays for many people.

Reports say that drones and balloons were spotted moving toward the city. The government had to ground all planes to keep passengers safe while they dealt with the threat.

Interestingly, Russian President Vladimir Putin was flying back to Russia at the time these drones were attacking. It is not yet clear if his flight was directly affected by the shutdown, but the timing has grabbed a lot of attention.

This is part of a larger trend. Ukraine has been using more drones to strike deep inside Russian territory. These attacks are not just happening near the border anymore; they are hitting the heart of Russia.

Experts say these drones are getting faster, harder to spot, and more dangerous. While the West is trying to figure out how to keep up with this new technology, the conflict is clearly changing. These attacks show that the war is having an impact far beyond the front lines in Ukraine.

For now, the airports are trying to get back to normal, but the security situation remains tense.
