A cargo ship in the Black Sea was hit by a drone. Romania says the drone came from Russia. The attack caused the ship to sink.
So far, we know that one person died in the attack. Three more people are still missing. Rescue teams are working to find them.
This is a serious problem for the region. Because of these attacks, NATO is getting involved. NATO is a group of countries that work together for safety. They have promised to send more planes and drones to the Black Sea area to keep a closer watch on shipping lanes.
Ukraine’s government is also speaking out. Their Foreign Minister asked other countries to work together to stop these attacks. They want to make sure that ships can travel safely without being targeted by drones.
The situation is tense. Russia has been accused of these strikes as part of the ongoing conflict in the area. Now, with more military planes and drones patrolling the water, the region is bracing for what might happen next.
