Search underway after ferry capsizes off Northern Cyprus

A major search is happening right now in Northern Cyprus. A ferry boat carrying hundreds of people tipped over and sank in the ocean.
Tragically, we know that at least 8 people have died. Rescuers are still working hard to find 18 passengers who are currently missing.
People who survived the sinking shared terrifying stories about how it happened. One mother told reporters that her daughter slipped out of her arms while they were in the water.
Rescue teams are scanning the area as fast as they can. They are looking for anyone who might still be trapped or struggling in the water. We will provide more updates as soon as we hear more information from officials on the ground.
