Ship Captain Arrested After Deadly Collision Near Istanbul

Authorities have detained the captain and a top officer following a cargo ship collision that led to a sinking.

A serious accident happened off the coast of Istanbul. An oil tanker hit a cargo ship, causing the smaller cargo ship to sink. There were 10 people on board the cargo ship when it went down. The Turkish Navy launched a search operation and managed to find the sunken vessel. Following the crash, local prosecutors took quick action.
