A high school student from America just found something incredible. While on a school trip to Tel Gezer National Park in Israel, 17-year-old Shiloh Attoun spotted a tiny object on the ground.

It turns out to be an ancient amulet. It is a scarab, which is a small stone carved to look like a beetle. These were very popular in ancient Egypt.

Experts say the object is about 3,300 years old. That is a very long time ago. It dates back to the time of the Egyptian pharaohs.

Shiloh was part of a group learning about history and archaeology. She was in the right place at the right time. Finding something this old is rare. It gives researchers a small clue about how people lived in the area thousands of years ago.

Archaeologists are excited about the find. It shows that even today, there is still history waiting to be discovered just beneath our feet.
