A tragic accident has happened in northwestern Nigeria. An overloaded boat carrying many passengers flipped over in the water.
Tragically, officials say at least 50 people have died. Many of those who lost their lives were children.
Rescue teams are working hard at the scene. They are searching for anyone who might still be missing in the water. Because the boat was carrying more people than it should have, it became unstable and capsized.
