A small power plant in the UK had to shut down recently because of a cyberattack. This means someone used the internet to break into the plant’s computer systems.

Reports say the people behind the attack are linked to Iran. This is the first time a UK power plant has been forced to close down due to a hack.

Because of this, the UK government held an emergency meeting with the heads of major energy companies today. They want to make sure the country’s power supply stays safe and secure.

Experts are looking closely at how the hackers got in. This event comes right after reports of another attack on a water system in Minnesota, which some people also think was caused by the same group.

For now, officials are working hard to figure out exactly what happened and how to stop it from happening again. They are also checking to see if other systems are at risk.
