Russia is hitting Ukraine hard again. They are focusing their attacks on power plants and energy systems. Because of this, tens of thousands of people have lost electricity.
It is not just the power that is at risk. More and more civilians are being hurt or killed. The United Nations says these numbers are the highest they have been in years.
In the city of Kherson, the situation is very bad. Just in the month of September, 16 people were killed there. Over 200 more people were hurt in the same time.
Life is becoming very difficult for everyone in Ukraine. With the weather getting colder and power grids being targeted, families are struggling to keep their homes warm and stay safe. Aid groups warn that the humanitarian situation is getting worse every day.
