Countries across Europe are getting ready for a big job. They are planning for a time when the fighting in Ukraine might finally stop. If a peace deal happens, these countries want to be ready to send soldiers to help keep things calm.
In Poland, a group of countries is holding a large military exercise right now. They are calling this the 'Coalition of the Willing.' This is their first time practicing together on this scale to see how they would work as a team in Ukraine.
One part of the team includes the famous 'Desert Rats' soldiers from the UK. They are training hard for what they call 'peacekeeping.'
This mission would not be easy. It comes with many risks and hard problems to solve. One big question is about safety. Officials say that if European peacekeepers are sent to Ukraine, they will be allowed to fight back if Russian forces attack them.
Leaders are currently figuring out the details of how this would work. They want to make sure they are ready to protect the peace if the time comes. This training in Poland is the first step in making that plan a reality.
