Polish police have arrested a man who they say was planning to kill Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
Authorities confirmed that the man was caught before he could carry out his plan. The reports say the suspect had allegedly been looking into how to attack the Prime Minister, and in some reports, it is noted that he may have also threatened the country's defense minister.
Polish officials are currently looking into the details of the plot. At this time, investigators are working to figure out exactly what the man’s plan was and if he was working with anyone else.
Donald Tusk is the head of the Polish government. He is a very well-known political figure in Europe.
Because this is an ongoing investigation, the police have not shared every detail yet. However, they are treating the threat very seriously. The man remains in police custody while the investigation continues.
