A Chinese state-owned company has been caught sending materials to Russia to help them build attack drones. New reports show that the company sent 46 tons of special carbon-fiber materials to a Russian firm.
Carbon fiber is a very strong and lightweight material. It is used to make drones harder to detect and better at flying long distances to hit targets.
Even though the Russian firm is already under international sanctions—which are rules that stop companies from doing business with them because of the war in Ukraine—the Chinese materials were still delivered.
