Things are looking tough for peace between the U.S. and Iran. Even though they are trying to work out a deal in Qatar to end the fighting, they are still very far apart.

Over the weekend, the mood was tense. The Iranian team even left the talks in Qatar after things didn't go as planned. Still, both sides say they are keeping the conversation going behind the scenes.

Iran claims they have been having "intensive" talks with the U.S. They even suggested they would be willing to reopen the Strait of Hormuz—a very important waterway for oil shipments—if a final deal is reached. They said they could do it in just two days.

Right now, both Tehran and Washington are using pretty strong language. The situation is complicated, and neither side seems ready to give much ground yet.

We are keeping a close eye on this. For now, the diplomacy is stuck, and everyone is waiting to see if either side will blink first.
