Violence Continues in Gaza Amid New Reports of Fighting
Recent strikes leave more people dead as international groups warn of critical water shortages.

The fighting in Gaza is not stopping. Even though there has been talk of a ceasefire—a temporary agreement to stop shooting—people are still dying every day.
According to the health ministry in Gaza, which is run by Hamas, more than 900 people have been killed in the region just this year. Recent reports from the area show that the violence is continuing to spread across the north, center, and south of Gaza.
In Gaza City, local people have reported seeing Israeli special forces on the ground. This comes alongside very intense bombing and ongoing clashes in the streets.
In other parts of the region, separate attacks have led to more deaths. The Times of Israel reports that at least one person was killed and several others were hurt in a strike in the south. Meanwhile, Middle East Eye says that two more Palestinians were killed in separate attacks in the north and center of Gaza.
The United Nations is also warning about a major crisis. They say that for the second day in a row, about one million Palestinians in Gaza have been cut off from clean water. Israel has reduced the water supply, making it very hard for families to find what they need to survive.
