The Israeli military has started tearing down buildings in the West Bank city of Hebron. This follows a deadly attack where two Israeli soldiers were killed at a nearby checkpoint.
Because of the attack, the Israeli government has promised a major military operation in the area. Soldiers have been moving through the city, and families living in the targeted neighborhood were forced to leave their homes before the buildings were destroyed.
This is a tense situation. The military says these actions are part of their response to the recent violence, while local families have been left without their homes as the operation continues.
