16 Killed After Russian Strike Hits Ukrainian Shopping Mall

A Russian drone strike hit a busy shopping mall in a central Ukrainian city. At least 16 people were killed in the attack. Rescuers are still working to dig through the wreckage to see if anyone else is trapped.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke out after the attack. He called the people who carried out the strike “animals” and promised that Ukraine would get revenge for the lives lost.

International reporters and officials have confirmed the death toll. The attack has been described as a despicable act against civilians. This tragedy comes as the war in Ukraine continues to cause heavy loss of life across the country.

Rescue teams are currently on the scene working hard to find survivors in the remains of the building.
