Ukraine is making new progress in its fight to take back land in the east. Recent reports show that Ukrainian soldiers are pushing Russian forces back in the Donetsk region.
This success is happening for a few key reasons. First, the army is relying heavily on classic big guns, known as artillery. Even though modern warfare uses a lot of drones, these big cannons are still vital for clearing out enemy positions and helping ground troops move forward.
Technology is also playing a huge role. Ukrainian units are using Starlink satellite internet to stay connected on the battlefield. This allows commanders to talk to their troops in real-time, making their movements faster and more coordinated.
In the middle of these updates, there is also talk about international deals. Some reports mention that a deal involving diesel is moving forward, linked to Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, which has added a layer of complexity to the global situation surrounding the war.
For now, the focus remains on the ground. Ukraine says it has successfully freed more territory in the Donetsk region. Analysts point out that this shows how well the Ukrainian army is adapting by mixing old-school firepower with new high-tech tools to gain an advantage.
