An Egyptian farmer was working on his land when he spotted something strange. It was a stone with carvings on it sticking out of the ground. He realized it wasn't just a normal rock, so he called in the experts.

Archaeologists came to check it out. They started digging and found that the stone was actually part of a massive statue. It turns out to be a piece of a 28-foot-tall statue of Ramses II. He was a famous pharaoh, or king, who ruled ancient Egypt about 3,000 years ago.

The discovery happened in a place called Behbeit El-Hagar. The experts were amazed that such a big and important piece of history was just sitting there under the dirt near someone’s home.

This isn't just one rock; they have found several parts of statues related to the king. It is a huge find that helps us understand more about how people lived and built things thousands of years ago.

The area is now being carefully studied to see if there is anything else buried nearby. For now, the farmer is being credited with making a priceless discovery while just going about his daily life.
