Finnish authorities are currently investigating a series of suspicious break-ins at the private homes of several members of parliament.
At this time, it is not clear exactly who is responsible or what they were looking for. However, Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo has suggested that these actions could potentially be the work of a foreign power. Officials are taking the matter very seriously, as the safety of lawmakers is a top priority for the country.
Police and security services are working to figure out how these intrusions happened and who carried them out. While the investigation is still in its early stages, the government is treating the situation as a serious concern for national security.
There is no word yet on whether any sensitive information or items were taken from the homes. For now, the main goal for the Finnish government is to secure these properties and determine if this is part of a larger plan to target their political leaders.
