Ukraine’s former defense minister is moving into a new role. Oleksiy Fedorov has officially joined the Italian Defense Ministry as an adviser.

Even with this new job in Italy, Fedorov is still focused on the war back home. He is currently working on a plan to start a "new history" for Ukraine's military. The main part of this plan is a new technology fund.

Fedorov wants to use this fund to boost Ukraine’s drone technology. In fact, he has already offered to share some of Ukraine’s drone tech with the United States. In return, he is asking for Patriot missile systems, which are used to shoot down incoming rockets and planes.

Sources say that Fedorov plans to keep his main base of operations in Ukraine while he helps the Italian government. By working with international partners, he hopes to bring more money and advanced tools into the fight against Russia.

This move shows that even after leaving his top government post, Fedorov remains a key player in trying to secure military support for Ukraine.
