King Charles III has a message for the people building the world’s most powerful artificial intelligence (AI): be careful.

At a big meeting about AI safety, the King spoke to the leaders of major companies like Nvidia, OpenAI, and Anthropic. He told them that AI is a very powerful tool. Because of this, it could lead to real danger if the wrong people get their hands on it or if it isn't kept under control.

He warned that the world needs to get a handle on this technology before it is too late. The King urged these companies to think about the safety of people everywhere, not just the speed at which they can build new software.

AI is already being used in many parts of our lives. It can help write, paint, and solve hard problems. But many people are worried that if AI gets too smart too fast, it could start to act on its own or cause big problems that we aren't ready to fix.

The King’s goal for the meeting was to push these tech bosses to put safety first. He wants to make sure that these new computer brains are used to help the world, not to put it at risk.
